Of straw and mud
Mosaic swirl coves
And preloved glass
I'll build my home
Cushion corners
Crackling logs
In wood fire stove, mingle
With the kettle hum
Knee deep in boggy soil
Potatoes peeping
Cobblestone
Add more soil; wait
Summer's light
Piercing, a shard
Through greenhouse glass
Spotlighting tomatoes
Peace falls each night
Slow, contemplating,
Aligning
As we grow.
